Malaysia snaps!

Hey all!...
Well here are the first snaps from my new camera, unfortunately these are the only ones for tonight because its very late and I am not able to downsize the photos on here so they take for ages to load!!!

First off in Malaysia we started in Kuala Lumpur, which I don't have any photos of yet but am back in KL now so will snap some tomorrow! Its so much more developed here proper subway systems and real motorways, mcdonalds on every corner lol! its crazy and nice for a holiday but i still like Cambodia! So the first shot is on our 3rd day we caught a very late bus up to Penang which is a small island connected to the mainland by a 13.5km bridge its so huge! This is me just chilling down on the water front on the first night.

This is Me and Lydia who I've been travelling with, we caught a train up Penang hill 800m above sea level, and the train ride was an experience in itself the train seems about 50 years old, on only one cable! and then they try and cram like 80 people into it! CRAZYNESS! anyway we made it up and this is the view from the top it was amazing you could see all over the island.

Up the top of the hill this is a Hindu temple, which is very detailed and interesting, then also there was a mosque which was a little plainer but had some amazing carpets and wall hangings inside it.

A highlight was holding this huge ass snake! for around $3 we got to hold it and got a postcard with us on it! hehe it was so gross and we were freaking out! but fun all the same, and one i can check off my list of yuk things to do! somehow i had to hold the head!

Then whilst we were up the top we met this great couple Carla and Ben, who are from America and England respectively, so I jetted off to the toy museum with them after and then we all met up for yummy vegeterian Indian dinner in Little India afterwards! Food was top quality and price super cheap so a pretty good day! Also was great because back in KL we met up with them again! Good times....

So next up will be our trip to Cameron Highlands and then KL and back to Camb on friday! Also sorry in my last blog I said my cousins were getting married on the 7th actually its the 9th! Congratulations again!
