A most exciting thing is the preperation you put into a trip, deciding where and when to go, how long to spend in each place, where to stay, how much money will I need? How will I get around, and then a though struck me... there are so many people all across the world that don't have this freedom of movement. So many people have said to me "wow your so lucky to be going overseas".... and so many of my friends in Cambodia, "wow your so lucky to be going back home".... (at the end of my last travels)

Its about knowing where you came from and where you are going, for every opportunity you take there are several more you don't, to every new and exciting place you go it's not like you forget about your home, your memory does not work on a one in one out basis. New experiences stimulate and excite the mind, as does the thought of the comfy old shoe, people all over the world are essentially the same, ambition is a common goal for everyone, but can also work against us as we ignore the opportunities we don't allow ourselves. The difficulty is when restrictions are imposed, and what so many people don't realise that due to international border boundries people are often very restriced in their movements and trapped into a war zone, or poverty area, or landlocked at never able to view the sea, all because of the area they were born into.

Have a look at these photos and ask yourself which one is more beautiful? And who is luckier?
