Gone gone gone!

All my photos GONE! Memory card error? Virus? Electrical fault... who knows!?

Stressed about this for the whole day whilst dad and I rented a motorbike and zoomed off into the distance, a 100km loop in the hills out of Chiang Mai. Then into camera shop where some skilled techi recovered nearly all my photos in various states and different orders, but now at least I have them because they were all the ones from Laos and Thailand!

Tomorrow brings cooking a whole day, at an organic farm sounds great, I really beleive it is important for us to think for a moment about where our food comes from, when you buy some rice from the supermarket, do you realise how many hands its gone through to get it there?!

Planting, harvesting, husking, transporting, packing, re-transporting, warehouse work, shelving, product display etc etc etc. I know that whatever food choices we make for ourselves be it vegeterian, omnivorous, organic etc. Its all important to remember we have choice and its time to start making the right choices, appreciate your food, some people don't know where their next meal is coming from.

Enjoy feeling full, don't over-induldge what a waste! ...if you can buy food from local markets and organic products lets make the choice to help our environment, help our people and together enjoy a long life and be happy knowing our children of the future can live in a world where they are certain of their next meals!

OK enough of that rant. I'm mostly ranting to myself as I am the culprit that decides its easier to have fast cheap easy food, rather than good healthy nutritous food.. change takes time!

Home in less than 10 days now, Im looking forward to summer in NZ - have some roadies planned and am keen to unwind, chill out before getting serious in the job hunt... perhaps the police force? exciting decisions!
