Phnom Penh adventures!

Well while I was up in PP, after being sick I went to visit Tong from work at her house and she took me to the place where Bayon TV is filmed, apparently they have big free concerts here each week and they get broadcast on TV I can't wait to go to one!

This photo below is one of my favourite, it is Tong and me on the moto I dont think I've seen a Cambodian smile quite so much! The sky in the background is also just about to pour!

Another friend I have made here is Raksmey, she is the daughter of Mr Saroeun at my work, Anna and I went out to lunch with her the other day and had a very nice time, she is 21, and works 12 hour days 7 days a week at a clothing store for $85 a month! ouch. Plus she's rich!

After lunch Raksmey took me to her house on her moto, we went through a red light, and the police pulled us over, she floored it and we did a complete runner from the cops! I was so scared and was like why didnt you stop and she just laughed and said, because you are a foriegner and they make you pay! eeek!

Although after checking it out with VSA apparently this is the norm, and i shouldn't have been worried! entertaining all the same!

Anyway, that's it from me for this time, I head back to SR soon, and will put up more photos as soon as I can, thanks everyone for your emails and comments I really appreciate them, and hearing news from all corners of the globe!

Always try to reply to emails although SR internet hard but texts do work!

Love to you all miss you!

Hey Fi,

Now that is being very slack. I know that you are in the middle of nowhere but I am managing to be more blog active from the middle of the mediteranean ocean than you ;-)

Hope all is well and you are enjoying yourself.
