And Yes Occasionally I do do real things…

Like putting petrol in my moto… PS petrol is no cheaper in Cambodia than NZ so don’t worry! It’s nearly USD$1 a litre.

This is my totally cool awesome flatmate Chris, we decided that we wanted to expand our animal collection, so built a chicken house, was a long hot day and I managed to mess up the sunscreen badly (oops) but we now have a chicken house and two beautiful spotty birds one is called bom-pay and the other is yet to have a name… hopefully soon they start to lay eggs as we worked out that each hen needs to lay 50 eggs in order to make them worth their keep! Fingers crossed… or they might end up as roast, in our traditional convection oven, a large pot on top of the stove with sand in the bottom and two cans holding up an inside pot with the food, the sand helps the heat to convect and it cooks quite nicely… amazing what you learn!

This is a trip to Phnom Penh earlier to watch the All Blacks play South Africa, I learnt later that the two kiwi VSA Univols were actually at the game in SA but I didn’t see them! We won so life was good, (from l-r) Rach, me, Anna, Sue Baker (VSA Wellington staff), and Tom (Sue’s husband). There’s one bar in Phnom Penh which plays the rugby called the Gym Bar owned by an ozzie I think it’s got a nice vibe though and even a pool table!
