Kia Ora! Jom riep sue (formal) or sua sdei (casual)
I have been language training, such fun our teacher is Sohkuen a Cambodian who has reasonable english skills as he has studied english literature, he is 30, divorced and loves to give out compliments, altho maybe anna and I are just doing fantatsic jobs and goes without saying we are "nih jear s'rei s'ar" -there is a pretty girl!
Have now checked out many of the markets even bought stuff, negotiated over a couple of cents, makes you wonder if it is really worth it?! and I've even had my first tummy bug! We have been out for dinner with the other VSA volunteers and I have 'kiwi-ised' my room with my flag and some pretty flowers as well as some Peanut Butter and bread for breakfasts!
Dad just rung from NZ was awesome to chat to him and Niks and Pauline, I miss NZ but have not yet been homesick, there is so much to do and look forward to here, going throught the market places is just one big visual aesthetically pleasing sight, there is colour and interesting gadgets every which way, tomorrow I hope to go back and buy some cooler Cambodian or Thai sarongs etc!
That's about it from me, lie sen hye (see you later)
xx
PS. Ooops use your imagination, it is easier than me switching the photo myself! Ii is taken from the VSA office in PP.
