As I said mum and Nikki came to suprise me at the airport, was so nice and we also got this cute photo! very cool... but 12 and a bit hours later we flew into Bangkok, unfortunately it was only night time, so do not have very many if any good photos, the one below is just street scenes of Downtown Bangkok, with the green sign in the background our hotel where we stayed.
The Indra Regent Hotel, next morning at 4am we were up to have brekkie then make our way to the airport, at the airport I posted some mail back home, however apparently over here you do not lick the stamps for 2 reasons. a) they are not always clean and b) I licked right over the kings head, very rude. Hehehe one of those "if only I knew... " moments!
Here is the view of Cambodia from the plane we are looking south down the Mekong river over Phnom Penh, very flat, very crowded there are around 1.5 million people in the city I have been told.
