Well after not feeling very inspired to write anything because my photo's weren't loading Im now all pumped! Basically over the last week I have been everywhere! My dev-net conference in Wellington was actually just amazing, I really enjoyed it! Had some great speakers such as Prof Robert Chambers, The honourable Luamanuvao Winnie Laban, The mayor Peter Chin and Vice Chancellor David Skegg. I really didn't want to leave on Friday when I drove to Christchurch with Dave! Also one other thing to note is we got interviewed by the media, and my photo was in the Otago Daily Times, Pg 32 on Saturday Dec 2! Also check out this link:

It has me in it quoting something about a cultural lens, hehehe, where did I pull that from!
Anyway onto Nelson on Friday, got dropped in a little hole of a place called Richmond, was not fun, *thinking oh my gosh can I actually catch a bus all 11 hours back to Dunedin from here* however got picked up by a good mate Tony, and then we went out for Mexican dinner with Carli and Pope, mmmm sangria's, tapas just pure goodness!
This pic here, is a me and cari trademark shot, camera on timer on the car dash and us two chilling on one of our adventures!
So anyway, that was my time away, thanks carli you made it great! I got back to chch with Dave on Sunday night and decided to catch the bus back monday morning as there really wasn't any reason for me to stay in chch and was quite over it!
So looong bus trip back monday, where I saw erin again and went and sortted out my degree, I have been accepted into the masters programme for uni! argh! check this out:
Fiona Southall BSc, MA!!! hehe lol! has a nice ring to it huh?
Flew to Wellington yesterday (was a little bit worried however because jono had flown out of wellington the day before and said something had ripped off his plane! How scary is that?!?) made it in one piece and now have all my jabs for Cambodia this arvo, and then the 2nd part of my VSA briefing this thus-sat -hopefully will know more about next year after that!
Life is Good xx

Well Fiona if you thing Kaiteriteri is awesome now you should have seen in the 50’s when we had our family holidays at the NZPO welfare cottages . These still only cost $160 a week for a two bedroom sleep six place close to the beach so heaven knows what they cost then !!
Last time I was there was about six or seven years ago it somehow seem smaller than remember ! I must find an old slide from mum and dads collection and post on my photo blog.
