My very first time....

So this is a time of firsts for me, my first blog, my first and last 21st party and my first time graduated and my first time that I am going overseas by myself. If some of you don't know, I have just recently graduated from Otago University with a Bsc, something that I initially thought impossible and although I had many trying times at uni I did it! ... hang on.....

I DID IT!!!

Yes! it is very exciting for me, so now that i have done that it seems only logical to do something with that degree and so through a programme called VSA I have set myself up with a job in Cambodia doing development aid work, at a local level.

Lots of people have asked me exactly what I'll be doing and the truth is I really don't know yet, maybe I think for me that's part of what's really exciting and intriguing, I've had so many different reactions about going from: do it, to don't do it to "follow your dream" to "don't get abducted how will you ever stay safe" and I think that these are all things that are running through my head also... who knows life is a journey, that should be travelled no matter how bad the roads or accomodations. So with that in mind I set out for my very first time in Cambodia.

However, not getting too caught up in the moment ( I don't leave til january), this weekend is my 21st party, through all the organising and everything that's gone on I feel that I shouldn't be excited about it but meh I am.

So with all this is mind here is my very first time at a blog, it seemed only appropriate to put a baby photo in! and to end i guess i'll throw in another of my favourite quotes:

"everything in the end will be ok, if it's not ok it's not the end"
